Quoteline Direct shows their social side by blogging

17 September 2012

Manchester-based insurance broker Quoteline Direct has added a consumer-focused blog to their website to bring some much needed colour to the insurance market.

“Most people think of the insurance industry as being a starchy and dull place” begins Group Director Paul O'Gorman “so we have set out to change this popular misconception and prove that insurance can be interesting.

“We’ve been in the insurance business for more than 45 years and have built-up plenty of insight and expertise that we want to share. And the great thing about blogging is that we get to hear your thoughts and have a proper conversation. We’ve also updated our Facebook page and added a Twitter account to give a choice of ways of staying in touch.

“As well as regular posts keeping you up-to-the minute with insurance news and views, we’ll be publishing practical ‘how to’ guides aimed at helping people get the most out of their insurance provider. And from time to time we will throw-in a humorous piece to prove that the insurance industry does actually have a funny bone” continues Paul.

“But of course none of this will work without your help, and we are keen that everybody gets involved. We are looking forward to hearing your comments, answering any questions and getting stuck into some healthy debates. Also if there are any articles you’d like to see written please do get in touch.

“We can’t wait to start building an online community” concludes Paul “and hopefully we will be hearing a lot more from all of you”.
