Personal accident insurance is one of the most flexible products on the market; you choose the level of weekly benefit required, and this determines the cost of the policy. The most basic level of cover includes:
- Permanent Total loss of Sight in One or Both Eyes £10,000
- Permanent Total Loss of Hearing in Both Ears £10,000
- Permanent Total Loss of Speech £10,000
- Permanent Total Disablement: £10,000
- Loss of One or More Limbs £10,000
- Death: £10,000
Weekly payouts for Temporary Total Disablement depend on the level of cover chosen. For example: a policy which pays a weekly sum of £100 costs just £80 a year, whereas a policy paying a weekly sum of £300 costs just £10.78 a month (plus £25 deposit). Temporary Total Disablement payments are made for a maximum of 104 weeks.
Policies can be extended to include sickness cover for an additional premium.
